I just found a blog about creating a Greener Miami it looks very well done by blogger Rebecca Carter who's bio says she lived here in Sarasota. As networks seems to go there seems to be a tie-in with groovy green another very nice looking blog from Ithaca, NY. with several bloggers.

Thanks for the mentions! I am, in fact, from Sarasota. I grew up there and attended Riverview before heading off to UF in Gainesville. Now I'm a Miamian, trying to make my part of the world a little greener. I return often to Sarasota, and was even married on Siesta Beach.
